Hey guys, u all have to limit the fps to 60. This old Engine can not handle more fps then over 60 fps.
Take a tool like Rivatuner Statistics Server or look in ur graphics drivers. At Nvidia there is an option, i know, but I dont use there because I use RTSS (Riva Tuner Statistics Server).
AMD user, maybe is there an option too, I dont know because I dont have an AMD graphicscard.

And I recommend an widescreenfix like this:

Download it, copy this in ur root install of NFS U 1 an u have native resolution.

if the game feels too sped up, try reducing the framerate in your graphics card settings

you need to mount the iso files to the system, drive name doesnt matter

then mount 2nd iso to y: driver

un the setup file on the x: drive

use F6LL-LZPR-5PUD-R9WL-VJKZ for the codet

then copy speed.exe found in the nfsu_ patch folder to c:/program files/EA Games/need for speed underground folder (or where-ever the game was installed)then run speed.exeI dont know about disc 2 on the Y: drive if needed, but that is what I did and the game plays.

Key bindings does not save after quitting the game? here is the file called "dimap.dll", download it and paste it on your X:Need for Speed Underground (X is where your NFS folder located)

got it to run, but is there a way in the files to make it run the proper speed? everything is extremely sped up for some reason, and theres no direct way to configure key bindings

When NFSU was released on 2 cds. You need to mount both disk image files, on windows 10 just right click and press mount. Then in disk one click setup.exe and follow the prompts. The game will install, move the patch2 file to the installation directory and click it to patch the game. Then copy the 2 files from the nfsu patch folder to the install directory and the game should run be clicking the speed.exe.
