Mage Pets for Dungeons (2024)

REMINDER: All of these pets are legendary, and level 100.

Sheep Pet

Guardian Pet
Perks
+100 Intelligence
+50 Defense
Ability 1
Lazerbeam
Deal 20* your Intelligence every 3 seconds.
Wearing Very Wise, +100 Intel from Pet, is 850 Total Mana, which does 17k every 3seconds.
Ability 2
Enchanting XP Boost
Gives a 30% Boost to Enchanting XP
This is useless in dungeons, no need to elaborate.
Ability 3
Mana Pool
Regenerate 30% Extra Mana, doubled when in or near water.
Not much water in dungeons, though the Mana Regen is nice.

Considering all the factors, they are both decent pets, but I think the Sheep pet is better, for damage as mage and support, the Guardian could be a bit cheaper and easier to level, but Sheep is more worth to buy.

Doesn't it cut aotes mana cost to 40

my lvl 80 sheep only cuts aote mana cost to 42

I don’t think so, according to MenacingBananas video on Mage, it showed him AOTEing for 26 Mana.

Also you didn't really mention textbook

And how about phoenix(+150 intel) + textbook?

Sorry, forgot about textbook. I will include tomorrow morning, it’s getting late for me. Phoenix seems more of a hybrid pet to me, and doesn’t seem all too good. I can review it if you want.

Yes, which I mentioned was with a very wise set at the end of the sentence. I also applied the same very wise to the Guardian Pets laser beam, so it’s fair.

what, there isn't a true "point" of dungeons, its literally just more content for players and that's it, and how am i ruining the point of dungeons by pointing out the pets you say mages should use in dungeons arent that good compared to other pets???
